We want to keep our friends an colleagues informed about what’s happening here in Nijmegen (Holland). So here is a brief overview.
- User interface
We are still working on the new user interface. This is taking much longer than we expected. We are progressing steadily, but every time we change something in spot A, it has consequences in spot B, C, D and E. Usually it has some effects we didn’t think of before. Actually, we are not only updating the graphic aspect of the interface, but also the language and sometimes even the concept. Take the wizard for instance (the ‘Magical Man’ in Globish). Some MindSonar Professionals loved him, but many others thought he was to childish for their business clients. So now we finally retired him. Which meant rewriting that whole sequence in a moe neutral form. And having it translated in several languages. And producing new voice overs. And so on. So we hope you will bear with us… - New graphics in questions
We are having an artist redo all the drawings in the MindSonar measurement. They are coming out really beautiful, this is a fun project for us. You may recognise the graphic above this post. This is the remake of the black and white drawing that we have been using to indicate ‘Specific’ for about 15 years. All non-photo graphics will be redone in this same style. We will take a look at all photo’s too, to see if they are still up to date and replace them if necessary. - New report
The new report is being prepared. It will be quite a while before it is operational. We are looking into the form and the MindSonar Experts group is looking into the new text. - Separate meta criterion
I thought it would be good to make the meta criterion (When you achieve all this, what will that bring you?) sortable in the list of criteria too. But this causes logical problems with the hierarchy. So we decided to return to the original set up and keep the meta criterion separate. - Editable report
The Experts Group stressed that they do want to keep an editable version of the report, preferably Docx. We will keep the editable version available when we change the report.
Okay, so this was my short update of what we have been doing since september. Much more has happened of course. We had a wonderful MindSonar Conference, we started some marketing activities, the student group came up with some data, Lego serious play traveled from Lat Am to Europe, more and more profiles are being processed, we are preparing to start in the UK, and so on and so forth. I’ll keep you posted!
- Registry obligatory from January 1, 2018
I almost forgot. It will be obligatory for MindSonar Professionals to be in the Registry from January 1, 2018! So are you certified but not in the registry? Please fill out this form. It only takes about 10 minutes… And it’s free! Reasoning: since there are ever more MindSonar Professionals, we want to have a central spot where people can find them all. From January 1, 2018, you can only use MindSonar when you are in the registry.
